Guardianship Administration & Litigation

Guardianship Administration:

A guardianship is a legal proceeding where a guardian is appointed to exercise the legal rights of an incapacitated person and manage all or some of the incapacitated person’s financial, medical, and social affairs.

The attorneys at KGBPA recognize that having to obtain a guardian for a loved one can be an emotional experience and that managing the responsibilities as a guardian can often be overwhelming and therefore, we provide our clients with the personalized attention and careful guidance they deserve.

Guardianship Litigation:

The standard Florida guardianship process involves only administrative court proceedings focused on protecting the interests of someone alleged to be incapacitated. However, guardianship litigation arises when a conflict occurs, and one or more parties seek intervention from the courts to resolve their differences.

Our attorneys have experience assisting fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in all facets of guardianship litigation.
